President Pantić Appointed to Independent Review Panel by MWRA

Wentworth Institute of Technology announced that President Zorica Pantić has been appointed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) Board of Directors to chairperson of an independent panel of experts who will examine the causes of the water main break in Weston, Mass., on May 1, 2010. The panel will review the circumstances that led to the loss of the insulating coupling along a section of the MetroWest Water Supply Tunnel.

Bachelor of Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees were awarded to 94 students. The Institute reached another key milestone in its 106-year history as this year marks the first graduating class from a master’s program at Wentworth; the Master of Architecture degree was awarded to 151 students.

628 Students Earn Degrees at Wentworth’s Summer Commencement

Wentworth Institute of Technology held its Summer Commencement ceremony on Sunday, August 22, at the Bank of America Pavilion, marking the first time the venue was employed for Wentworth’s graduation. The Institute awarded 628 students with Bachelor of Science (537), Associate in Applied Science (32), and Master of Architecture (59) degrees.
